Cipher Challenge
My first Vigenère
This is a repeating-key Vigenère cipher. Begin with a Key-length guess, not a keyword guess. Open Repeated sequences, record the spacings between repeated groups, and test a common divisor of several spacings as the period. Open Periodic columns with that period: each column is a Caesar cipher made by one keyword letter. Use Frequency analysis and common-letter guesses to estimate each column's shift, convert those shifts to keyword letters, then enter the candidate keyword in Vigenère transform. Choose Decrypt and Run it on the Challenge Ciphertext. A correct period and keyword must produce coherent text throughout; revise weak column shifts first, then reconsider the period. Submit the complete result.
