Perwich's Paris Dispatch
Introduction
English diplomat William Perwich sent this encrypted dispatch from Paris on 9 April 1670. Pipes preserve the cells and empty padding of the National Archives' 22-row transcription, including multi-character abbreviations and numeric codes. UK National Archives source
