The Surveyor’s Hidden Order
Introduction
Surveyors turn a landscape into rows, columns, coordinates, and measured intervals. A transposition cryptogram reverses that convenience: every symbol remains present, but the structure that once placed them beside one another has been concealed. Solving it means treating each proposed rectangle as a hypothesis and examining the contacts it creates. One promising fragment is not sufficient; the restored order must continue to support coherent relationships throughout the full message.
